Year 4 to Year 5 Transition course

Program Overview:

• Time: 10:00 AM - 12:10 PM -In-person and 2 pm to 4:10 pm- Online(Both Include 10 mins break)
• Total Sessions: 8 (4 weeks)

Session Breakdown:

     Week 1: English and Maths Fundamentals

• Session 1 (Tuesday):
  • English: Master grammar and punctuation, and enhance reading comprehension.
  • Maths: Improve number operations and tackle word problems.
• Session 2 (Thursday):
  • English: Build vocabulary and sharpen writing skills.
  • Maths: Understand fractions, decimals, and measurement concepts.

     Week 2: Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning Introduction

• Session 3 (Tuesday):
  • Verbal Reasoning: Grasp patterns, sequences, and logical connections.
  • Non-Verbal Reasoning: Identify shapes, patterns, and solve visual puzzles.
• Session 4 (Thursday):
  • Verbal Reasoning: Master advanced techniques and improve speed.
  • Non-Verbal Reasoning: Tackle complex patterns and varied questions.

     Week 3: Deep Dive into Subjects

• Session 5 (Tuesday):
  • English: Analyze texts, identify themes, and enhance writing skills.
  • Maths: Dive into algebra and geometry basics.
• Session 6 (Thursday):
  • Verbal Reasoning: Consolidate learning with mixed practice and exam tips.
  • Non-Verbal Reasoning: Practice diverse questions and exam strategies.

     Week 4: Exam Practice and Confidence Building

• Session 7 (Tuesday):
  • English and Maths Review: Recap key concepts and attempt mock tests.
  • Feedback Session: Receive personalized performance feedback.
• Session 8 (Thursday):
  • Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning Review: Review strategies and take mock tests.
